Intriguer Lyrics Contest Winner!

We have finally picked a winner of the Intriguer Lyrics Competition. Thanks to all who entered and got involved, it was an amazing response and the entries were great so it took a while to decide on the winner.

Congratulations to Miss Little (Sarah McCallum) for sending in an excellent and individual rendition of the Intriguer. We really enjoyed your ideas and vocal performance on our backing track and have decided your version was the best of well over 100 submitted.

Sarah's 'Intriguer' can be heard on our media player and if you're coming to the Crowded House show in Sydney this November then you may even get a chance to see the song played live. Don't worry if you're not in Sydney, i'll make sure to film it for all to see.

It's quite saddening to realise when someone (leo) promises something and doesn't deliver, they expose their disregard for you. I thought CH & Co. would be better than this. Everyone put so much time and effort into their renditions, but in the end, we all get cast aside when they get what they want. Nice way to treat ur fans CH!

I don't know if I missed a memo but did the other finalist get posted yet I really like that all these people have posted their versions but I would like to hear the songs you guys thought were the best... sadly I didn't enter but I still want to hear more of what crowded house actually liked and don't think I am alone. oh and congrats on your version winning Sarah :) but Submarine Leo if that is your real name I think you have forgotten this page if so when you do read this where and when did you plan on posting them

I've listened to this a few times and it's really grown on me. Apart from the fact I really like it, I also like the fact that Sarah didn't try to emulate Neil Finn or Crowded House - style-wise or otherwise. It is truly a great song in its own right. I love the lyrics. I have heard some of Sarah's other work and it is mind-blowingly good. Hopefully this will be a great opportunity for her. Jen x

Good job to the winner! I'm excited to hear as many runner-ups as possible, I think it's really cool to have such a vast think tank working on the same tune, and the one's I've heard so far are all very different from eachother ..... varied styles, melodies and fun ideas added. Congratulations. Good work. I love your chorus and how the melody takes off. I love the lyrics, how you interpreted this character. He has succeeded in his efforts and, in my listening wound up in hell. He is a sad character. The flood may have consumed him as well. Enjoy your success.
